CECA today welcomed the news that British pension funds are planning to launch a multi-million pound fund to invest in the infrastructure projects highlighted in last year’s National Infrastructure Plan, but warned that it must be introduced no later than its planned January 2013 launch.

CECA Scotland welcomes Aberdeen Western Peripheral Route decision

Civil Engineering Contractors Association CECA Scotland welcomes the decision to throw out a legal challenge to the vital Aberdeen Western Peripheral Route (AWPR) project.

The £350m bypass, which was originally given the go-ahead by the Scottish Government in 2009, is considered to be of major strategic importance to Scotland.
